There would be no Georgetown Farmers’ Market without Allison’s Farm - truly. The Allisons, along with other volunteers and vendors, helped create the market 32 years ago, long before it became what it is today. I had the chance to sit down with Bob Allison and his daughter Christine to reflect on just how far things have come.
After 30 years in the corporate world, George and Liana took a leap of faith—transforming their careers by turning a lifelong love of food into a full-time venture. Both raised in European families, they grew up with a deep appreciation for cooking, sharing meals, and bringing people together.
