The Bridgewood provides a little taste of Italy close to home, with a wonderful selection of wines and spirits and a dining menu that offers a variety of traditional Italian dishes that are created with fresh pastas made
on-site daily and a mouthwatering selection of flavourful sauces. There are also weekly dinner specials, Gluten free alternatives and plenty of steak, seafood and traditional thin crust pizzas to please any palate.
The restaurant is available for corporate luncheons and private parties for up to 30 people. Whether you are heading out for a night on the town or hosting a party, The Bridgewood is ready to say, “Welcome to the Family!”
- Moments In History
James Young purchased the lot from J. Pratt in 1853. In 1854, 1/5 of the lot was sold to John McLellan. The present house was likely constructed around 1817 when the lot was purchased by the Goodenow family. In 1903, the property was sold to Isabella Bradley, the mother of William Bradley of the Dominion Seed House. In 1953, Leslie Clark took posession of the building.
