This building is the result of the Silver-Mackenzie partnership and is commonly known as the Sid-Mac Building. The building was erected in 1966 on the site of the Lawson’s Trout Pond and the later G.T.S. Railway on the corner of James St. and Main St. It was a business venture intended to house commercial tenants.
