Certified Management Accountant by day-Quilting Queen by night! Anna not only brings her business savvy to The Sewing Cafe, she proves that busy ‘corporate’ types aren’t required to abandon their creative side when they enter the workforce. A self-taught sewist, petite Anna started making her own clothes when she couldn’t find ready-made clothes that fit her frame or her unique sense of style. Anna’s sewing skills continued to evolve as she seamlessly transitioned to wife and mom. From creating adorable kids wear to mastering draperies and home decor and ultimately quilting – Anna has literally been there – sewn that! As a teacher at The Sewing Cafe, Anna believes that the first sewing skill people really need to develop is their confidence and she is looking forward to helping students every stitch of the way.
